Getting Started
Storytellers have a lot of ideas. Organizing and finding them quickly is a challenge. You've probably experienced this before:
- "where did I write that again?"
- "So how does this fit in the timeline?"
- "I'm still struggling with naming my character"
We've been there, and that's why we created Oent.
Oent, stemming from the word "Orient", is built for storytellers, and how they think of their stories. Every story is made up of a sequence of events, which can be organized in two ways:
- Story Order: How you're telling the story
- Timeline Order: The actual chronology of the events
Oent provides a visual representation of these two orders, allowing you to navigate your story in both directions through the Binders and the Timeline.
We highly recommend starting with these guides to better understand how to use Oent.
