Attributes

Attributes are custom fields you add to track information in OENT.

Where attributes apply

• Document attributes apply to documents.
• Timeline attributes apply to timeline segments.
• Asset attributes apply to assets inside an asset group.

What attributes are good for

Use attributes for details you want to scan, compare, or filter mentally across many items, such as status, point of view, plotline, role, location type, or revision notes.

Create attributes close to the thing they describe

Create document attributes from document attributes, timeline attributes from timeline segment attributes, and asset attributes from an asset group or asset details panel.
