Timeline Attributes

Timeline attributes are custom fields for timeline segments. Use them to track status, plotline, emotional beat, location, character focus, or anything else that helps you plan chronology.

Open timeline attributes

Open a timeline segment's options menu.
Select Attributes.

Add an attribute

Open the attributes panel.
Select Add New Attribute.
Choose Text, Select, Multi-Select, or Status.

Use visibility

When an attribute supports visibility controls, choose where it should appear, such as the timeline, event cards, or documents.
