The timeline holds the chronological order of your story. Use it to plan cause and effect, compare story order against document order, and move story moments into the right sequence.
Select Timeline in the project toolbar.
The timeline contains segments. Some segments are shared with documents, and some exist only on the timeline.
Use the segment options menu to edit the body, edit attributes, share with a document, detach, or move a segment to Trash.
Open timeline options and select Word Count to show or hide the timeline word count popup.
