Import

Import brings existing writing into OENT. The current import flow supports WriterDuet backup files.

Prepare a WriterDuet file

In WriterDuet, export a backup file with the .wdz extension.

Import into OENT

Open the Documents view.
Open the Documents more options menu.
Select Import....
Choose the WriterDuet .wdz file.
Follow the import modal to finish.

After import

Review the imported documents and screenplay formatting. If the screenplay uses character names, configure screenplay character asset recognition afterward.

Keep a backup of your original WriterDuet file until you have reviewed the imported project.

Write and edit imported screenplay content.
