Share a document segment with the timeline when that piece of writing should also appear in your story chronology.
After sharing, the segment remains in the document and also appears on the timeline.
When a segment is already shared, use Peek in Timeline to open the timeline beside the document and see where that segment sits in chronological order.
Use Detach if a segment should stop appearing in the document. If it is on the timeline, it can stay there as a detached timeline segment.
